Leon is an MBA graduate with a classical grounding in marketing and advertising schooled by American and British Multinationals, such as - Kimberly Clarke, Reckitt and Colman, and Ogilvy & Mather Advertising. Over many years as a client he has worked in and with blue chip advertising agencies such as: Hunt Lascaris (TBWA), SBBW, Network, Gavin Reddy (TBWA),and Bates. In his advertising career he has worked on accounts such as Tiger Oats, South African Airways, Rand Water, Eskom, Boland Bank, Procter & Gamble, and National Brands.

He offers a well-honed ability in strategic marketing thinking and creative work. He has attended art school, film school and business school. This unusual combination of strategy and creativity is a major factor in his reputation for producing ideas that work and initiatives that have stood the test of time.

He believes that marketing is not just about doing the right things; it is mostly about doing inspiring things. He is a great believer in the inspiration that the international market place provides. He is also convinced that ultimately it is our imagination that makes us different and what makes us a force, in the marketplace, where it really counts. He is able to manage the conceptual integration of a broad spectrum of Marketing disciplines: Customer Service Strategy, Corporate Strategic Alliances, Scenario Planning, Advertising, Consumer Promotions, Marketing Research, Event/Sponsorship Marketing, Interactive Multimedia, Public Relations, Corporate Media Relations, Knowledge Management, Training and Change Management Communication.

He has gained experience in Corporate, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Services Marketing, Retail, and Industrial Marketing across many markets and categories.

He has demonstrated the ability to develop numerous marketing initiatives where no precedent or marketing culture existed.
